Mark moved into the world of publishing after a management role in the Motorcycle retail sector. The appointment to Classified Sales Manager for leading sportsbike magazine, SUPERBIKE in 2000 cemented his passion for this industry.
Mark was headhunted to become an original member of the editorial team that launched TWO WHEELS ONLY Magazine in April 2001, and has contributed to every issue since. His close-working relationship with manufacturers, distributors and importers enabled varied and interesting product based features. Mark also took responsibility for other core areas, including road testing Cruiser and Touring Bikes.
His distinctive writing style relays his passion for his subject. His vast writing experience spans features, press releases, proposals, sales material, brochures and web content across a wide range of trade and consumer titles. Our varied client base provides the opportunity for creative, interesting and investigative journalism.
Mark is a cruiser enthusiast and would choose an open faced crash helmet any day of the week. Bikes owned and ridden start from a Vespa as a teenager and span the A-Z of manufacturers. He’s got a soft spot for Victory Motorcycles and worked closely with Victory USA as a journalist (Hence the honeymoon!). Current steed is a beautifully restored 1967 Italian Lambretta Li150 Silver Special, but Mark can mostly be found Trail Riding in the leafy Devon lanes on a KTM 350 Freeride.
Mark also plays football and is former Club Captain for Ardingly FC, and after a brief spell at East Allington United FC has signed a longterm deal with Loddiswell VETS! So we guess this makes him a professional footballer…
